It is with true sadness that we lose our wonderful Priest Fr.Paddy Culligan & Patron of our Club, he was truly respected by all on our Club & Parish, he was a Gaelgeoir, Historian, Friend to everyone and we had lots of great discussions on games, and in his good days he would give his pep talk to our players before a match. Fluent in Irish, loved talking about Colaiste Ui Chomhraidhe. He was Witty, Funny, and loved a quiet bit of Devilment.

He was an avid reader as anyone who would have visited his house would know. He was a great conversationalist and loved his time as PP here in Carrigaholt .

He was so good to the Irish in Nottingham and made sure all were looked after. His Funeral tomorrow will go through kilkee, Querrin, Doonaha, Carrigaholt, Moyarta, Moveen, Newtown, Kilcrona and will rest overnight in Carrigaholt Church. People are asked to stand outside their houses along the route in Respect . May his Soul Rest in Peace
